All Elite Wrestling hasn’t become a company just yet and already it has started to cause problems for WWE since rumors state that there are a few wrestlers who are part of the promotion that would like to join AEW.
Vince McMahon is obviously feeling the pressure, which is why he is now looking to ensure all of his top stars are signed to lengthy contracts as well as looking at some of the biggest stars around the world so that other companies can’t poach them.
Recently it was reported by The Wrestling Observer that Kevin Owens had signed a new contract with the company that keeps him with WWE until 2023, the former Universal Champion is currently sidelined after undergoing knee surgery last month, but he is expected to make his return to the company in mid-2019 and will continue to be seen as one of WWE’s top stars.
Another star who has been signed to a new contract is The Big Show, the legend has been seen by the side of The Bar on SmackDown Live in recent weeks but the company’s giant recently told TMZ that he has been signed to a new contract with the company that will see him remain on screen for the next few years.
Owens remains out of action after undergoing double knee surgery a few weeks ago, but this news it shows how much WWE wants to ensure their stars are in iron-clad deals.
Whilst many believed that The Big Show would retire from WWE a few years ago but somehow The Giant has been able to get into the best shape of his life and is now a regular face on SmackDown Live.
