WWE Royal Rumble: Edge Wins the Men’s Royal Rumble Match

The Men’s Royal Rumble match main evented this year’s pay-per-view and contained several interesting cameos.

While there were already more than 20 men declared for the match, there were many surprise entrants including Christian, Carlito, Hurricane, and Damian Priest.

Edge came into the match in the number one spot and was able to outlast 29 other men to win the Royal Rumble match for the second time.

The WWE Hall of Famer was able to help eliminate the likes of Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, and even his friend Christian en route to the win.

The match also contained a surprise return from former WWE Champion Seth Rollins, who entered at number 29 and was able to last until the final three before The Rated R Superstar dumped him out of the match.

The former 11-Time World Champion wasn’t the favorite to win the match, that was Daniel Bryan and earlier in the day it became Seth Rollins. It was The Messiah who eliminated Bryan, which ended many fans’ hopes of a victory for the popular star.

Edge will now be looking forward to the challenge that awaits him at WrestleMania since he will have the opportunity to choose which Champion he wants to challenge.
