It was announced earlier today on WWE show The Bump that the company would be holding a press conference this Friday in Las Vegas. The conference will include COO Triple H, Cain Valesquez, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman, Tyson Fury and Paul Heyman at the T-Mobile Arena.

Reports suggest that WWE could be set to make a huge announcement on Friday night, even though details of the announcement are not currently known.

Recent reports from The Wrestling Observer suggest that Cain Valesquez needs to undergo surgery on his injured knee as soon as possible, which means that the announcement could be that he will face Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel in less than three weeks time.

The fact that Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman are also part of the press conference means that there could also be an announcement when it comes to the match between the two men who ended this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw with a brawl.

Survivor Series is just around the corner but Crown Jewel is just three weeks from tomorrow and right now just one match has been announced for the show in the Middle East. The only announced match is the five-on-five tag team match between Team Hogan and Team Flair. This match isn’t even completely announced since only four of the ten stars involved are known at this present moment in time.

Friday is the first day of the 2019 WWE Draft, which means that the news could surround the signing of Cain Valesquez who has reportedly negotiated with All Elite Wrestling in the past.

Reports revealed that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was yet to sign a contract with WWE even though he appeared on SmackDown last week and set up a match with Brock Lesnar. The press conference could be to reveal Valesquez as the company’s latest signing and then set a date for the first matchup between Lesnar and Valesquez outside of The Octagon.

WWE could make more than one announcement as part of the press conference that will be streaming live on WWE’s social media pages and the WWE Network on Friday.
