Braun Strowman returned to SmackDown last week for the first time since he was part of the Wyatt Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules and it was clear that he had changed.
Strowman was no longer the man that Alexa Bliss recognized when the former Women’s Champion confronted The Monster Among Men.
The Fiend has managed to get into Strowman’s head in recent weeks and even though he takes on The Fiend for the Universal Championship this weekend at SummerSlam, this week on SmackDown, he found a way to infiltrate The Firefly Fun House and targeted Bray Wyatt.
Strowman attacked the former WWE Champion before dragging him out of the Fun House and after a backstage brawl, he was thrown off a ledge backstage, which forced the medical staff to put Wyatt on a stretcher and into a waiting ambulance.
It took a while for the ambulance to leave the building and when WWE officials went to check, The Fiend emerged.
It appears that The Monster Among Men’s plan was to take out Bray Wyatt ahead of his Universal Championship match this weekend, but that failed when The Fiend appeared looking fit and well, despite the injuries to his alter-ego.
