The New Day celebrated Thanksgiving by issuing an open challenge on this week’s episode of SmackDown and their challenge was answered by Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. Ahead of their Tag Team Championship defense against The Revival this weekend at Starrcade, Big E and Kofi Kingston put up a fantastic fight against the Intercontinental Champion and The Swiss Superman, and were able to come out on top.

In the absence of Xavier Woods, Kingston and Big E continued to be a formidable unit as they defeated their newest challengers when Sami Zayn was sent to the back after trying to interfere, it was Kingston who secured the win with a Trouble in Paradise.

Throughout tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Bray Wyatt was pursuing a new Championship match against Daniel Bryan, but the former World Champion was refusing to accept. The show finally closed with Bryan officially turning face and welcoming the WWE Universe back in as he chanted “YES” when it came to the question of stepping up to The Fiend once again before Wyatt appeared on the screen.

Wyatt hinted that The Fiend remembered something about Bryan and that is was him that helped to build the Fun House, to begin with, before stating that he had promised his Fireflies a new face.

The lights then went out and Wyatt appeared in the ring where he wore Bryan down with the Mandible Claw before dragging him into the hole he had made in the canvas. Wyatt then continued the attack with Bryan out of sight but showed the hair that he had taken from the star.

Of course, Wyatt did state that he would unveil a new face, that new face looks to be a clean-shaven version of Daniel Bryan. The WWE Universe were not shown the final product of Wyatt’s attack, but it will be worth tuning in to next week’s show if Bryan’s new look is unveiled.
