WWE SmackDown: Jey Uso Wins Fatal Four Way, Will Challenge Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions

Jey Uso wasn’t even in the fatal four-way match in tonight’s SmackDown main event when the show kicked off earlier tonight but after Big E was taken out of the match by Sheamus, Jey Uso was drafted in to take on The Celtic Warrior, King Corbin, and Matt Riddle.

Roman Reigns revealed that Paul Heyman had made it happen because he thought it was about time that Uso was given the chances he deserved and Uso made sure that he capitalized on it.

While his brother Jimmy Uso looks at making a return in January at the Royal Rumble after suffering a torn ACL at WrestleMania, Jey is now looking at the Clash of Champions main event and a Universal Championship match against his own cousin after pinning Matt Riddle following a frog splash.

It’s an interesting way to ensure that Roman Reigns remains a monster heel since Jey Uso will now become a victim of his own cousin, who will send a message to the WWE Universe at Clash of Champions by further cementing his heel turn.

There is a reason why Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns wanted Jey Uso in the match, and he could now be written off TV until his brother is able to return.
