WWE SmackDown: King Corbin, Dominik, and Rey Mysterio Declare Their Entry in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match

The 2021 Royal Rumble takes place this weekend and SmackDown was the final place for many stars to announce their participation in their respective matches.

The Women’s Royal Rumble didn’t have any additional entrants added this week and heading into tomorrow’s special episode of WWE Backstage, there are just 12 women announced for the match.

The Men’s Royal Rumble match now has 20 entrants after Dominik, Rey Mysterio, and King Corbin were declared to be part of the match following their match on SmackDown.

Earlier in the night, Dominik came up short against King Corbin while his father Rey Mysterio was on commentary, but it was made clear that this feud was far from over.

There were question marks surrounding the whereabouts of Buddy Murphy, Alayah, and even The Nights of The Lone Wolf, but King Corbin managed to handle business with The End of Days before Rey Mysterio put him in his place following the match.

There are 18 places left in the Women’s match which could be taken by NXT Superstars and returning legends, while the men’s match now has just 10 entrants left to be announced.

Tomorrow night, as part of the return of WWE Backstage, numbers one and two for the match will be announced.
