The Fastlane go-home edition of WWE SmackDown Live followed the footsteps of March 6th episode of Monday Night Raw in terms of a decrease in viewership.

This week’s SmackDown Live took a hit in terms of both viewership rating and total viewership count. The episode which featured AJ Styles (c), Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in the Fatal 5 Way Main Event received a 1.71 rating as compared to last week’s show which scored 1.80. This week’s show also averaged a viewership of 2.59 million, down from the February 27th episode which garnered 2.692 million viewers. However, sources claim that the sharp decrease in viewership right before Fastlane isn’t an alarming matter as WWE is confident of viewership taking a steep jump as Wrestlemania 34 closes in.

The following is the viewership count of SmackDown Live as provided by Showbuzzdaily:

January 2, 2018 – 2,720,000 viewers

January 9, 2018 – 2,603,000 viewers
