WWE SmackDown: Nikki Cross to Face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions

After the attack from Bayley on Sasha Banks last week on SmackDown, it appears that The Boss has been written off TV for a while and the SmackDown Women’s Champion needs a challenger for Clash of Champion.

This week on SmackDown, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, and Tamina fought it out in a fatal four-way match to become the number one contender for the Championship.

Ahead of the match, Bayley attacked Nikki Cross with a steel chair as she made her way to the ring, but Cross still continued.

Alexa Bliss was later possessed by The Fiend and delivered a perfect Sister Abigail on the outside of the ring on her best friend, before walking out on the match.

Bliss walked up the ramp in a zombie state and the match then became a triple threat.

Nikki Cross was able to get the better of her two challengers and in the end, she rolled up Tamina to become the number one contender.

Cross will now have the chance to exact some revenge after the earlier attack from the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
