Charlotte Flair used her Royal Rumble victory to challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36. On the night of April 5th, The Queen dethroned The Nightmare and returned to the black-and-gold brand in a triumphant fashion.

Since getting back to her roots, Flair has humbled a number of rising Superstars while cementing her legacy as an 11-time Women’s Champion. Now, The Queen has once again set her sights on SmackDown and will return to The Blue Show tonight.

Intercontinental Title Tournament kicks off

Sami Zayn followed in Roman Reigns’ footsteps and refused to work the tapings during the on-going coronavirus pandemic. What The Great Liberator literally failed to realize is that he would be buried in the same way WWE has thrown The Big Dog in the dark.

Zayn was stripped of the Intercontinental Championship for refusing to show up at the tapings and being unable to defend the title. Now that the title is vacant, a tournament will begin this Friday night to crown a new Intercontinental Champion.

Which Superstars will have the golden opportunity to compete in the tournament and claim the shining piece of gold?
