Roman Reigns made his return last Sunday night at SummerSlam when he sent a clear message to The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in the main event.
Over the past few days, it has been noted that the former Universal Champion has a much more aggressive edge to him since his return and this week on SmackDown the reason for this became clear.
Adam Pearce was set the task of getting all three men in the main event of Sunday’s show to sign the contract for their No Holds Barred match and while The Fiend and Braun Strowman were easy enough to find, Roman Reigns was the one that was the toughest task for the WWE producer.
Reigns was finally found in his dressing room and after looking over the contract he made it clear that Paul Heyman was in the ring when he used his “that’s not a prediction, it’s a spoiler” line.
Heyman then appeared when the camera panned out to reveal that he was sitting next to the former Champion and the two looked as though they had become a team.
With Brock Lesnar not currently on the road with WWE and it still unknown when the former WWE Champion will return, could this be a short term fix for the former Executive Director of RAW or will this be the start of the character change that Roman has needed for the past few years?
