WWE SmackDown: Roman Reigns Debuts New Finisher, Retains Universal Championship

Roman Reigns has been dominating WWE since he made his return back at SummerSlam, but this week on SmackDown he faced the tough task of going one-on-one with The Monster Among Men.

Reigns and Strowman have their history and the two men left it all in the ring this week as part of the Season Premiere of SmackDown, which allowed Reigns to unveil a new finisher.

While it wasn’t the finisher alone that took Strowman down, since the new Raw superstar took a low blow and two spears before Reigns locked in the Guillotine choke and body scissors to make Strowman submit.

Reigns has used the spear as his main finisher since he made his debut back in 2012 and has never needed to have a submission in his arsenal.

The addition of this level of move means that Reigns has even more ways to torture his cousin Jey Uso when he steps into Hell in a Cell in just over a week’s time.
