WWE SmackDown: Seth Rollins’ Return Date Revealed

Seth Rollins has been out of action since Survivor Series back in November, but the former World Champion did make his return to WWE at Royal Rumble where he had a short cameo appearance.

The Messiah was unable to recreate the success he once had back in 2018 but was able to eliminate Christian, Riddle, and Daniel Bryan before he was eliminated by the eventual winner Edge.

Rollins was a surprise entrant in the match at number 29 but only spent eight minutes before leaving for an early shower.

It’s interesting to note that Seth Rollins wasn’t part of this week’s episode of SmackDown following his return at Royal Rumble, but the company announced that The Messiah would be part of next week’s show.

This would be Rollins’ first WWE appearance on SmackDown since November and it’s unclear if he will step back into a feud with Rey Mysterio, who is currently occupied with King Corbin.

Rollins has been absent since November on paternity leave after Becky Lynch and the former World Champion announced the arrival of their daughter back in December.

Lynch was rumored to be making her return at Royal Rumble, but it was her husband Seth Rollins who made his WWE return in the men’s version of the match.
