The problems between Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose date back to the weeks leading up to WrestleMania and the two women were prepared to face off in a hair vs hair match this weekend at SummerSlam.
Both women were seemingly prepared to fight for the chance to shave the other one bald, but this changed this week on SmackDown when Rose looked to call off the match and reconcile with her former friend.
After slapping Dana Brooke backstage for bringing up her ordeal outside of the ring this week, Deville headed to the ring where she made the announcement that her match with The Golden Goddess would now up the ante since Rose was already looking to back out.
Deville announced that their match will now be a no disqualification loser leaves WWE match and the loser will be forced to walk away from the company.
Rumors following the announcement suggest that Deville has been offered a number of acting opportunities and it’s likely that The Pride Fighter could be looking to take some time away from the ring following SummerSlam.
It’s interesting to note that this is the way that the feud between former friends Layla and Michelle McCool ended at Extreme Rules 2011 and McCool was the one who was forced to walk away.
