WWE SmackDown: Tag Team Championship Match Confirmed For TLC

The New Day were unable to win their match in the battle for brand dominance at Survivor Series, but Kofi Kingston and Big E were prepared to move forward and find out who would be facing them for their SmackDown Tag Team Championships at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs next weekend.

Mustafa Ali and Shorty G, Heavy Machinery, The Revival, and The Lucha House Party took part in a fatal four-way match for the opportunity to face the Champions in just over a week’s time and the match contained a number of shocks.

Lucha House Party were the first team out after The Compactor by Heavy Machinery before The Revival took advantage of a blindsight from Dash Wilder to take out Tucker and Otis and take the match down to two.

The New Day watched on from commentary as the match went down and had a number of confrontations with The Revival throughout the match, who decided to ask Kingston and Big E to send Xavier Woods their best.

After disposing of Ali into the timekeeper’s area, The Revival were able to deliver The Shatter Machine to Shorty G to confirm the fact that they would be fighting for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs next weekend.

Following the match, Scott Dawson took the mic and confirmed that The Revival would ensure that The New Day would no longer disgrace the Tag Team Championships following their match at TLC. Dash Wilder then continued and stated that they would defeat them by going back to what they do best which is good old fashioned tag team wrestling.

The Revival could become four-time Tag Team Champions with a victory over their long-time rivals and it would finally bring to a close what has been a lengthy feud with The New Day.
