WWE SmackDown: The New Day is Officially Split in the WWE Draft

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston had quite the night on SmackDown since the two men made their return, won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and were then drafted over to Raw.

The two men were the first pick in the fourth round of the draft and their move means that the SmackDown Tag Team Champions will become Raw exclusive. The sad part of this draft round was that SmackDown later chose Big E which then officially split the trio.

The three men were on the ring when it was announced that they would be forced to go their separate ways, and Big E looked upset to be going it alone on Friday nights.

The other draft picks in that round saw Raw also take on Dana Brooke and Angel Garza while SmackDown kept hold of Mr. Money in the Bank Otis.

This move for The New Day means that it’s likely that The Street Profits will be drafted to SmackDown as part of Monday Night’s draft.
