Roman Reigns has had the odds stacked against him for a number of weeks after stepping into a feud with Baron Corbin, who had The Revival and Dolph Ziggler as backup. In recent weeks, King Corbin has gained the upperhand in the numbers game and at one point even handcuffed Reigns to the ring post and forced him to eat dog food.

At TLC last month, Corbin and Reigns collided in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match and once again the numbers game was a huge factor and many fans prayed that The Usos would make their return to help their cousin to give him some kind of advantage, but this didn’t happen.

This week on SmackDown, it was a tag team match that saw Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns take on Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin in the main event, but after The Fiend took out Bryan, Reigns was left to fight off Ziggler and Corbin on his own.

The handcuffs came out once again as Corbin and Ziggler thought about forcing humiliation onto The Big Dog, but this time The Usos‘ music hit and the duo made their way to the ring and cleaned house.

This is the first time that The Usos have been seen on WWE TV since Extreme Rules when they failed to win back the Tag Team Championships from The Revival. Jimmy Uso was also arrested for a DUI a few days later which led to WWE writing the duo off WWE TV for a number of months.

At his trial back in December, he was found not guilty and it appears that WWE has now made the decision to allow the former Champions to make their return. The Usos are now expected to become a major part of SmackDown’s biggest storyline moving forward.
