WWE Superstar Returns To The Ring After Major Injury Scare

WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Big Cass seems to have been lucky with a major career injury. During the recent European Tour, Cass suffered an injury during his match and while many suggested it as a scripted “work”, the seven-footer was pulled out of the Money In The Bank qualifying match against Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live.

It was earlier reported by PWInsider that Cass might be due for a second ACL surgery which could sideline him for six to nine months straight. However, Cass returned to the WWE ring, dodging a major career bullet, as he took part in a tag team match at the SmackDown Live house show on Memorial Day.

Big Cass teamed up with The Miz to square off against Daniel Bryan and Tye Dillinger. Although the seven-footer was protected during the match through limited in-ring work, it was him that finally got pinned by Bryan.
