WWE Superstar and former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey has been suspended for 30 days after she attacked the new WWE Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss, Kurt Angle and four referees who tried to stop her during the opening segment of Monday Night Raw.

Ronda was involved in a championship match with Nia Jax at the Money In The Bank PPV a day ago. Though she was thrown around like a ragdoll by Nia Jax during the first half of the match, Ronda made a great comeback during the later half and was almost about to make Jax tap out with the Arm Bar, when Alexa Bliss attacked her with the Money In The Bank briefcase.
Bliss went on to cash in the contract immediately by delivering a Twisted Bliss to Nia Jax.
It was the opening segment of Monday Night Raw and Alexa Bliss was in the ring with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, celebrating the previous night’s WWE Championship victory when Ronda Rousey stormed into the ring and started attacking the new champion. Angle tried to separate them by pulling Ronda away but the ‘Rowdy’ was blind with anger and frustration, Angle too felt the heat when she started beating him with the Money In The Bank Briefcase.
Rousey also attacked the referees who rushed to the ring to break the fight, and stormed out. WWE had recently mentioned that any assault on referees will not be taken lightly. Kurt Angle was left with no choice but to suspend Rousey for 30 days.
This will most likely keep her away from Extreme Rules but will definitely set up a return storyline for the next main PPV, Summerslam.
