Will WWE Convince Dean Ambrose To Re-Sign?

It’s been made clear over the past few weeks that Dean Ambrose isn’t re-signing with WWE when his contract comes to an end in April and now The Moral Compass of WWE seems to be running riot on WWE TV.

The company is obviously not happy about the prospect of losing one of their biggest stars, someone who could then move over to All Elite Wrestling since there would be no 90 day no-compete clause for Ambrose when his contract is up.

There has been a lot of talk about Ambrose’s departure in recent weeks, but according to Brad Shepard on the Oh, You Didn’t Know Podcast, WWE is still hoping that they can get Ambrose to sign a new deal.

“WWE is going to take one more swing at re-signing Dean Ambrose and apparently, they’re going to offer him a very sweet deal which may include limited dates. They do not want him to leave,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Why Has Asuka Been Kept Off WWE TV?

The past few weeks ever since Asuka‘s successful title defense at the Royal Rumble, WWE has been building towards the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Elimination Chamber.

Since this match has taken up 90% of the women on SmackDown Live, it’s meant that Asuka has no real challenger for this weekend’s pay-per-view, without someone moving over from Raw.

The fact that WWE already has Becky Lynch and Charlotte jumping brands has led to them deciding to limit the movement in the Women’s Division and it appears that the decision was made to keep Asuka off WWE TV until after Elimination Chamber.

WrestleVotes recently confirmed on their Twitter page that this was WWE’s plan but that the company still has a match in mind for her at WrestleMania.
