Andrade took on Humberto Carrillo on the kickoff show for TLC after The Mexican star was able to pick up a victory over the former NXT Champion last week on Raw. The match result meant that there was some tension between Zelina Vega and Andrade following the conclusion and this re-match was a way for them to get back on the same page.

Once again, Vega got in the way and the distraction went wrong, so when Carrillo picked up his second win in a week against Andrade, he walked out of the ring without Vega. She entered the ring after the match and looked to raise Andrade’s hand, but he pulled his hand away and left her behind.

Is this the split that the WWE Universe has been waiting for? What’s next for Zelina Vega, hopefully, this means that she will be added to the Raw Women’s Division in the coming weeks.

Vega’s husband Aleister Black didn’t fare much better tonight at TLC since he took on Buddy Murphy after the former Cruiserweight Champion was brave enough to knock on his door. The match was billed as one of the matches of the night against two underutilized WWE talents and even though it more than delivered, Black walked out with a broken nose.

There was a rough spot on the apron in the opening stages of the match where Murphy went for a flat liner bump on the outside but instead of coming down flat on the apron, Black headbutted the ring post in what looked like a clear botch.

It was made clearer that it was a botch when Black was seen on the outside clutching his nose which was pouring with blood. Despite the injury, the match continued and once again it was a Black Mass out of nowhere that allowed Black to pick up another victory on the main roster.
