WrestleMania season comes early this time as five big-time legends prepare themselves for their induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year.
ESPN is reporting that WWE will induct nWo into the Hall Of Fame Class Of 2020. This will mark the second induction for Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman at the prestigious ceremony, both individually and collectively. The faction will headline the Class of 2020.
The Hulkster is pleased with Vince McMahon honoring them despite his ruthless stablemates going at The Chairman during the historic Monday Night Wars.
“You’ve got four guys that were basically going at Vince as a shoot, pushing hard to actually try to take over. Not put him out of business but basically take his spot and be the No. 1 company. All of a sudden, you’re inducting four guys in the Hall of Fame that 20 years ago were trying to stab you in the back. It’s like Vince says: In the WWE, never say never.”
People reports that 6-time World Champion Batista will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year. The Animal officially retired at WrestleMania 35 and is now ready to take his rightful place among the glorious stars of yesteryears.
“As soon as I hung up the phone, I was … and excuse my language, I was like, ‘Sh*t, I gotta give a speech.'”
“And that is what I’ve been stressing about since,” he laughs.
“I don’t think it’s sunk in,” he says. “And I was thinking about it because I mean, it seems like a long journey, but it also feels like yesterday when I started my career. And it also feels … because I’m still working so much, it doesn’t feel like an end of a journey.”
WWE Hall Of Fame takes place on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
