WWE’s 4 Horsewomen Vs. MMA’s 4 Horsewomen Around The Corner?

Perhaps the decade’s most-awaited feud in the women’s division in WWE, WWE’s 4 Horsewomen vs. MMA’s 4 Horsewomen is finally beginning to take shape.

The epic feud was teased back when MMA’s 4 Horsewomen namely, Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler were all in the Mixed Martial Arts industry and WWE’s four horsewomen namely, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley were in NXT. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair actually brought the potential feud on the grand stage this past February when he publicly called out Rousey to fight his daughter inside the squared circle.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Lynch kicked off her Survivor Series feud with Ronda by firing shots at her on Twitter. The Man was eventually pulled from the show after suffering a broken face at the hands of “Facebreaker” Nia Jax during the invasion segment on the go-home edition of RAW.

At Survivor Series, Charlotte replaced Lynch and completely decimated the RAW Women’s Champion in the highly combustible semi main-event matchup.

Recently, Becky again took a jab at the four MMA Horsewomen on Twitter and Flair joined the party. This has caused the IWC to relentlessly speculate whether it’s a teaser as WWE usually conducts verbal feuds on Twitter to set up future matches.

The Queen also mentioned Tessa Blanchard, the daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Tully Blanchard in her follow-up tweets. Tessa is currently signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

It’s interesting that Rousey hasn’t yet dropped a line while Duke and Shafir fired back to defend their team’s honor.

For those unaware, there were plans for a WWE Horsewomen vs. MMA Horsewomen match at last year’s Survivor Series. However, the epic dream match never happened since Baszler’s teammates hadn’t yet set foot in Vince McMahon’s promotion at that time, leading many to speculate that WWE would be eventually showcasing the mega box-office fight in the coming years at WrestleMania.
