Zack Ryder Injury Update, R-Truth Coming To SmackDown Live, SAnitY Aims To “Purge”

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder suffered an injury on Main Event against Mike Kanellis in his first appearance on RAW since being drafted from SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shakeup. Although Ryder pinned Kanellis, he had to fly to Orlando to get an MRI done which would cost him Friday’s Greatest Royal Rumble. Ryder took to Twitter to inform his fans about his injury following the MRI.

Zack missed six months of action in December 2016 after suffering a ruptured patellar tendon during a Battle Royal on the blue brand. “Broski” is set to miss his part in the first-ever 50-Man Royal Rumble bout following his Main Event injury.

WWE recently posted a video of Tye Dillinger calling new SmackDown Live Superstar, R-Truth to find out his reason of absence on this week’s show in Louisville. It turned out that Truth got confused once again and thought that the show was taking place in St. Louis, the venue for Monday night RAW this week. It appears that Truth will be live on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live which will air live from Montreal.

WWE aired “coming soon” promos for SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain & Alexander Wolfe) on this week’s SmackDown Live. SAnitY signalled a warning on Twitter following the show, with the theme to “purge” the roster.
