PAC vs. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page

Both the superstars took part in this grudge match and tried to solidify their status as the next individual in the main-event scene. PAC took advantage of a referee distraction to gain the upper hand after Page laid a vicious beatdown to the Bastard PAC in the early part of the match.

Both the superstars exchanged high-impact offense before Page set PAC up for the Dead Eye. PAC countered it with a Brutalizer submission, which was broken up by Page. Page then hit the DeadEye for the pinfall victory, handing PAC his first loss in the company.

Result: Adam Page defeated PAC via pinfall

Grade: B+

Analysis: The match was rather slow-paced and was quite similar to the WWE type of booking. Hangman Page has received tremendous backing as the top babyface in the men’s division, and he continues to build himself up after suffering a loss against Chris Jericho at AEW All Out.

PAC defeated Kenny Omega at All Out, which signaled big things for him in the company, but it seems like we will have to wait for that for some time. A clean loss against Page won’t work in PAC’s favor, who could target Jon Moxley next.
