<p class="wp-block-paragraph">AEW presented a taped edition of Collision from Calgary on July 13, with a focus on the match to crown the number one contender for the ROH World Championship. With &#8220;Death Before Dishonor&#8221; taking place two weeks from now, Roderick Strong battled Dalton Castle for a shot at the title held by Mark Briscoe.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Konosuke Takeshita def. Tommy Billington</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Billington had an impressive showing, taking Takeshita to his limit. Takeshita delivered a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall and delivered a T-Trigger to win the match.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Post-match, Don Callis gave props to Billington, his mentor Bad News Allen, and Billington&#8217;s uncle Dynamite Kid. He issued an offer to Billington to join his Family, but Billington refused.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Callis slapped him, followed by Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher attacking Billington. FTR made their return to make the save.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It was a quick win for the Trios Champions after the Gunns hit the 3:10 To Yuma on Clark.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Post-match, Colten Gunn announced White was injured after Christian Cage&#8217;s attack and Robinson will be the Trios Champion in his place. Christopher Daniels interrupted and refused to allow it, and stripped BCG of the titles.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Patriarchy appeared, and Cage demanded the titles. Daniels set up a match between them and BCG. BCG wanted the match to take place right away, but Cage refused.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Castle&#8217;s strong performance went in vain when Strong picked up the win after hitting the jumping knee.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ROH World Champion Briscoe cut a promo, hyping up his Blood and Guts match against the Elite. He brought up his title match against Strong and said he is a lot wiser as compared to his previous match with Strong.</p>
