The penultimate episode of Dynamite for this year took place from the Daily’s Place with a Holiday Bash theme. The show was taped last week and most of the show was already out in the open through spoilers.

The Inner Circle def. Top Flight

The young superstars faced off against Chris Jericho and MJF, who used their heel instincts to the fullest during the match. Top Flight gave a top fight, but an interference by Jake Hager towards the end allowed MJF to hit the Heat Seeker for the win.

Post-match, an angry Jake Hager called out Wardlow and challenged him to a match next week.

Interview: Tony Schiavone interviewed Sting, who did a Dusty Rhodes impression before being interrupted by Team Taz. They were about to attack Sting before Darby Allin made the save. Team Taz retreated as Sting and Allin had a staredown.

Backstage: MJF walked up to Santana and gave him emotional support after Santana’s grandfather passed away recently.

The Jungle Express def. The Dark Order

The heels dominated Jungle Boy for most of the match, before Luchasaurus entered and cleaned house. A powerbomb combo from the dino and JB got the win for them.

Post-match, Schiavone tried to interview the winners but Tully Blanchard and FTR interrupted on the big screen and mocked the Jungle Express before their match in two weeks’ time.

Interview: Kenny Omega and Don Callis were interviewed at the hotel and they had harsh words for Tony Khan and Fenix. Omega said Fenix is a choker who has lost all the title opportunities in recent times.

PAC def. The Butcher

PAC used his speed to evade the Butcher, but the big size of Butcher proved too much. The finish saw Lance Archer run out to confront Eddie Kingston, and the distraction allowed PAC to hit a roundhouse kick for the win.

Post-match, Archer and PAC once again exchanged words on who gets a piece of Kingston.

Wedding Date Announcement

Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford and Miro joined Schiavone for a segment, which saw Sabian announce the wedding data as February 3, on the Beach Break special of Dynamite. Best Friends’ music hit, but it was a prank by Sabian and Miro, as footage of Trent being put into an ambulance was shown on the big screen.

Dustin Rhodes def. Evil Uno

After weeks of Uno chasing Rhodes for a spot in the Dark Order as #7, Rhodes took him down. Rhodes hit the running bulldog for the win, after a solid back and forth between the two stars.

Post-match, Uno tried to recruit Rhodes once again, but got attacked. Stu Grayson made the save, and QT Marshall also joined in, but was taken out by the Dark Order. Lee Johnson hit a dropkick on the Dark Order to take them out.

Schiavone interviewed Spears who called himself the best in the world. Spears was infuriated by Schiavone’s remarks and said he will return to AEW when he feels like.

Hikaru Shida def. Alex Garcia

Shida was attacked backstage by Abadon prior to the match. Abadon showed up at ringside during the match, and was attacked by the champion. Shida barely made the 10-count and hit the Falcon Arrow on Garcia for the win.

Post-match, Shida attacked Abadon with a kendo stick and the duo brawled, with Abadon biting Shida’s neck to end the segment.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match | The Young Bucks(c) def. The Acclaimed

The newest team on the block showed their cocky side by rapping before the match. A fast-paced main-event saw the champions retain after a superkick and a BTE Trigger on Caster for the win.
