This week’s AEW Dynamite featured TNT Championship open challenge, tag team match between The Young Bucks and The Butcher and Blade, and more.

AEW Dynamite Results:

TNT Championship Match | Cody(c) def. Eddie Kingston:
Indie star Kingston did some trash-talking before the match and asked for a No DQ match. Cody was dumped onto thumbtacks with a powerbomb, but he recovered to lock in the Figure Four submission to retain his title.

Jon Moxley cut a promo backstage and said Brian Cage was let go easily last week, but next time, Moxley will make sure he rips Cage’s arm out.

MJF def. Griff Garrison:
MJF boasted about his undefeated streak before Garrison pointed out his loss in a tag match. An infuriated MJF beat him up and picked up the win with the heat seeker.

Britt Baker continued to boast about herself and said she will make a return bigger than Michael Jordan’s return, at AEW All Out.

Taz revealed that he and Cage have resolved their issues. Darby Allin interrupted the duo, but he was blindsided by Ricky Starks. Cage and Starks took out Allin before Moxley made the save with a barbed wire baseball bat.

Chirs Jericho was salty about Orange Cassidy destroying his jacket, as he promised to make Luchasaurus ‘extinct’ in the main event matchup.

Falls Count Anywhere Match | Young Bucks def. Butcher & Blade:
The two teams brawled all over the arena before the brothers delivered an elbow drop followed by a senton to pick up the win.

Jake Roberts mentioned that Lance Archer is really frustrated without any real rivalries, as Archer said ‘everyone will die’ before shoving the backstage interviewer.

Diamante def. Ivelisse:
With the announcement of the 16-Women tournament, AEW looked to showcase their women’s division, as Diamante picked up the win with an inside cradle.

Hangman Page def. Alan Angels:
The Dark Order interrupted the matchup but Page picked up the victory nonetheless with a powerbomb.

Post-match, Brodie Lee offered Page a spot in their team but he refused. The Dark Order proceeded to attack him, before FTR made the save. Kenny Omega ran in to save his partner, but it was quite late.

Chris Jericho and Jake Hager def. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus: The match saw the heels picking up the victory after indie wrestler Serpentico hit Luchasaurus with a baseball bat. Jericho delivered the Codebreaker for the win.

Post-match, The Inner Circle continued to beat down the babyfaces, as Serpentico revealed himself to be Sammy Guevera. The Best Friends and Orange Cassidy made the save to end the show.
