AEW Dynamite results:

Lumberjack Match | Wardlow def. Luchasaurus:
A crazy encounter to kick off the night saw Wardlow take the win with the spinning F-10. The match saw several lumberjacks get involved as well as the competitors dish out jaw-dropping moves.

Post-match, a huge brawl ensued which ended with the announcement of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus vs Wardlow and MJF for Fyter Fest.

Britt Baker was accompanied by extra security this week after Big Swole dumped her in the trash last week.

Hikaru Shida def. Red Velvet:
Shida immediately dropped Velvet with the running knee for the win. Post-match, Shida attacked Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian at ringside.

Cody Rhodes and the Nightmare Family gathered for the TNT Championship Press Conference but Jack Hager didn’t show up. Arn Anderson talked about Hager disrespecting the title, while Cody remained calm and talked about how he loves professional wrestling.

Hager showed up with his wife and immediately got in Cody’s face. Hager’s wife threw a glass of water in Cody’s face, who still remained calm and ended the presser.

Brodie Lee and Colt Cabana def. Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela:
The Dark Order members took the win after Lee delivered a lariat to Janela and let Cabana take the pinfall.

Lance Archer attacked Kiss and Janela post-match, as Jake Roberts held him back from inflicting further damage.

FTR def. SCU:
FTR took down the inaugural tag-champs with the Goodnight Express (Shatter Machine) on Christopher Daniels.

Post-match, Butcher and Blade got in FTR’s truck and threatened to destroy it. They proposed FTR and Young Bucks vs Butcher, Blade, and Lucha Bros at Fyter Fest, which was accepted by Wheeler. Fenix and Pentagon Jr. attacked FTR as Young Bucks made the save.

Brian Cage def. Joe Cruz:
Cage defeated Cruz after manhandling him in the quick match, and finishing it with the Drill Claw, as the commentary noted Jon Moxley’s absence.

Britt Baker was once again attacked by Big Swole, who dropped trash onto her from the top. Baker shouted for Reba, who got Swole away.

Matt Hardy def. Santana:
Ortiz tried to help his buddy throughout the match, but Hardy sneaked in a win.

Post-match, the duo attacked Hardy as Private Party made the save.

Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy had a face-off, with Jericho calling Cassidy a joke of a professional wrestler and vowed to end the phenomenon of Cassidy at Fyter Fest.

Cassidy delivered his light kicks which angered Jericho. The duo brawled throughout the arena, as a bloodied Cassidy stood tall to end the show.
