AEW Dynamite Results and Highlights

Hangman Page was asked about his mystery partner for his match later in the night, and Page said he would like to keep it a secret as Matt and Nick Jackson showed up. Page said he won’t choose either one of them and put the faith in someone he trusts.

Cody w/Arn Anderson and Brandi Rhodes def. Ortiz w/Santana: Cody took on one-half of the Proud N’ Powerful as Lance Archer walked out to ringside with Jake Roberts. Satana tried to help his partner throughout the match, but Cody overpowered him to apply the Figure Four submission for the victory. Archer wanted to get in the mix, but Roberts stopped him.

Post-match, Santana attacked Cody, but Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega entered the ring to make the save.

Nick Jackson rushed to the hospital: We see Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, and Sammy Guevara backstage, who put the Elite on notice. Jericho said they must be wondering where Nick Jackson is, and the camera cuts to Nick being laid out on the floor after his head was squashed under a big door. Jackson was profusely bleeding and immediately put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.

Bea Priestley and Nyla Rose def. Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida: The tag-team match had great action from both the teams, as the superstars tried to make a statement against the AEW Women’s Champion. Rose picked up the win for her team after a spear and a beast bomb on Shida.

Post-match, Priestley attacked Rose and hoisted the title, before tossing it back to the champion.

Christopher Daniels once again mocked the Dark Order, by posing as a Dark Order spokesperson and saying that there is no Exalted One. Daniels challenged Evil Uno and Stu Grayson to singles matches and said that he’ll prove that there is no Exalted One, as no one will show up after he beats each of them.

MJF, The Butcher and The Blade def. The Jurassic Express: The 3-on-3 match saw the heels reign supreme over the beloved Jurassic Express. The winning team was helped by The Bunny and Wardlow distracting Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, as MJF put Stunt in the Salt of the Earth submission for the win.

A vignette was shown with Darby Allin carrying out a lifeless body with the mask of Sammy Guevara. Allin himself was wearing a Chris Jericho mask and got into a truck, pulling the body bag across the yard.

Big Swole Interrupts Britt Baker’s Promo: Tony Schiavone interviews Britt Baker, who cut a generic heel promo, calling out the citizens of Utah. Baker was then interrupted by Big Swole, as Baker hid behind Schiavone. Baker and Swole exchanged words, and Baker said that the only wrestler people care about is her boyfriend (Cedric Alexander). Baker showed her marriage ring and poured coffee on Swole’s face before fleeing from the scene.

Death Triangle def. Joey Janela and Private Party: The new faction looked impressive in this 6-man tag match, as the action got wild with all six superstars dishing out tremendous moves. The finish saw Fenix and Pentagon hit piledriver/foot stomp combo on Janela, followed by PAC hitting the Black Arrow for the win.

Post-match, the heels locked in the losers in submission, as Best Friends and Orange Cassidy made the save for the faces.

Dustin Rhodes announced that he will be Page’s partner for the tag-match in the main-event, and said that he is tired of the Inner Circle. He sais that they have some fixing to do cowboy s**t.

Jon Moxley was interviewed by Jim Ross after the brutal attack on the champ last week. Moxley said he wasn’t feeling 100%, but will be back for the show next week. Moxley called out Jake Hager, who delivered a powerbomb to him last week. Moxley believed himself to be the blind spot for the Inner Circle who are focused on the Elite.

Hangman Page and Dustin Rhodes def. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara (w/Jake Hager, Satana and Ortiz): The match got underway as Page didn’t seem too happy with Dustin as his partner. Jericho mocked Page and had a sip of beer before Page punched him and took the beer for himself. Page took out the members of the Inner Circle on the outside, followed by Dustin hitting the Canadian Destroyer on Guevara, and a buckshot lariat from Page resulted in a pinfall victory for the faces.

Post-match, another brawl ensued between the two factions. Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Matt Jackson tried to gain an upper hand for the Elite, but The Inner Circle pegged them down. Matt saved Page from a deadly powerbomb, before flipping him off. Jericho hit both the guys with a steel chair, put the chair over Matt and sat on it to end the show with his team beside him.
