The fallout from AEW Full Gear 2020 took place on this week’s Dynamite, with new rivalries set into motion going into the final few weeks of the calendar year.

Taz brought his guys and hyped them up while sending out a warning to the new TNT Champion Darby Allin.

1 Brian Cage def. Matt Sydal

Cage took on the high-flying Sydal in the opening match of the night, and despite the fast-paced offense, the FTW Champion survived and drilled a drill claw for the three-count.

Post-match, Ricky Starks announced his ambitions for the TNT Championship, continuing his rivalry with Darby Allin.

Jade Cargill debuts and teases Shaq/Cody feud: Cody entered the ring and congratulated Allin on his win. Jade Cargill made her debut and interrupted him with some trash-talking, before revealing that she is aligned with Shaquille O’Neil.

Brandi Rhodes stepped in for her husband and had a war of words with Cargill before they were separated. Brian Cage and Ricky Starks beat up Cody, but Darby Allin made the save.

Backstage: Jon Moxley gave props to Kenny Omega, but said that he has taken him down before, and wished him luck.

2 Bunkhouse Match | The Natural Nightmares def. The Butcher and The Blade

There were plenty of weapons being used in the match, with both the teams looking to destroy each other. Dustin hit Blade with the cowbell followed by a diamond cutter by QT Marshall to end the match. Bunny was sent through a table towards the end.

3 MJF Inducted into The Inner Circle

MJF and Wardlow were inducted by Chris Jericho into the Inner Circle, which was present without Sammy Guevara. Ortiz protested the move, but Jericho said he lost and according to the stipulation he will have to bring MJF in. MJF rained down confetti to celebrate Jericho’s 50th birthday and said they will celebrate in Las Vegas next week.

Backstage: The Young Bucks were interviewed by Alex Marvez, who was nervous after being superkicked by them a few weeks ago. The new tag team champions said they are looking for challengers and will take on Top Flight next week.

4 Shawn Spears def. Scorpio Sky

The two stars battled in the match which was delayed from last week due to Sky’s COVID exposure. Spears prevailed after a distraction from Tully Blanchard allowed him to hit Sky with his loaded glove to win the match.

Backstage: Kenny Omega was interviewed by Marvez, and he said that he is ready to be the face of the company once again. Omega said the duo is 0-0 as their first match was an Unsanctioned Match.

5 Tay Conti def. Red Velvet

Conti, with her friend Anna Jay of the Dark Order, took down Red Velvet after Conti hit a knee followed by a gory special for the win. Jay slipped a chair to Conti who refused to use it during the match.

Backstage: Sammy Guevara showed up as Inner Circle discussed their plans for Las Vegas next week. MJF said he sent out two emails to the group, and apparently, Guevara didn’t receive the second one.

6 Penta El Zero M def. Fenix

The two brothers fought in a rematch from a few weeks ago, as Eddie Kingston joined in on commentary. A breakup between the Lucha Bros was teased during commentary, as Penta hit a package piledriver to win the match.

Post-match, Kingston congratulated Penta and said he doesn’t need Fenix by his side. PAC returned and looked to attack Kingston, but the duo were stopped by the officials.
