The go-home show for Full Gear aired this week, with several big confrontations between the participants of the PPV.

MJF and Wardlow def. Sammy Guevara and Ortiz

The two members of Inner Circle who objected to MJF’s inclusion took on him and Wardlow, but couldn’t come out on top. Matt Hardy’s distraction proved enough as MJF locked in the Fujiwara Armbar on Ortiz for the win. Post-match, MJF and Jericho got into a little brawl but it was broken up by Santana and Jake Hager.

Interview: Tony Schiavone interviewed Kenny Omega in his home where The Cleaner talked about the tournament, boasting about his wins, and felt that he deserved to get byes to the final.

Miro def. Trent

Miro and Trent finally faced off after Best Friends’ tussle with Miro and Kip Sabian a few weeks ago. Dark Order appeared and brawled with Orange Cassidy ahead of Silver’s match against Cassidy.

Miro ended up applying his submission on Trent to pick up the win. Chuck Taylor tried to save his friend after the match, but Sabian joined and took him out.

Interview: Jim Ross interviewed Hangman Page, who talked about becoming the champion by taking down his former friend. Page drank his bourbon and said if he doesn’t win against Omega, he doesn’t have anything left in AEW apart from his drink.

Promo: Taz and his goons entered the ring as Taz once again asked Will Hobbs for his decision. Taz sounded frustrated as his clients didn’t have a place on the Full Gear card despite their impressive records.

Young Bucks def. Private Party

The Young Bucks warmed up for their ultra-important encounter against FTR on Saturday with a win over Private Party with the BTE trigger. Post-match, FTR attacked their challengers but Kenny Omega and Hangman Page made the save. There was some tension between the two stars but they kept it professional.

Promo: Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston had a war of words inside the ring, with neither man allowed to touch each other. Both the stars delivered absolutely swashbuckling promos, with Moxley bringing up Kingston’s career and his mother, much to Kingston’s fury.

PAC returns: PAC made his return to Dynamite through a pre-recorded video, where he said he is all alone and the last seven months have changed him.

Nyla Rose def. Red Velvet

Ahead of her AEW Women’s title match, Rose took out Velvet with the running knee strike, taunting Shida (who was in the crowd). Post-match, Vickie Guerrero taunted Velvet and Brandi Rhodes and spoke to Shida in Japanese which infuriated the champion.

Cody, Billy Gunn and Austin Gunn def. The Dark Order

The newest members of the Nightmare Family teamed up with the TNT Champion to take down Dark Order. Austin Gunn hit the quick draw on Colt Cabana for the three-count.

Post-match, John Silver tried to attack the winners, but Orange Cassidy took him out. Cody took the mic and dissed Darby Allin ahead of their title match at Full Gear. He also announced that he is now officially known as Cody Rhodes.
