AEW Dynamite Results, Oct 14: Anniversary Special Episode, All Titles on the Line

All Elite Wrestling presented their Anniversary special episode of Dynamite with every title in the company being defended on the show.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (c) def. Best Friends

An insane battle between the two teams opened the show, with FTR coming out on top with a hard-fought victory. The finish came after a distraction allowed Wheeler to hit Taylor with the championship belt and sneak in a pin.

Post-match, Kip Sabian, who was attacked during the match at ringside, brought Miro out with him. Miro went on to destroy Best Friends.

Miro and Kip Sabian def. Sean Maluta and Lee Johnson

The ruthless Miro and Sabian continued their assault by taking down the lower card talents after Miro locked in the Game Over on Maluta for the win.

Backstage: Lance Archer landed some heavy beating on Moxley to soften him up before their AEW World title match later in the night.

Jericho Invites MJF to Join The Inner Circle

MJF came out for his big announcement and invited the Inner Circle. The Inner Circle wore the jackets MJF gifted them, with Jericho forcing Guevara to wear his one.

After weeks of teasing, MJF officially asked Jericho whether he could join the Inner Circle. Jericho invited MJF for steak dinner next week and further the discussions.

Tony Schiavone was seen at a spa with Britt Baker. Baker and Reba realized that Tony is naked under the towel and scream out, before putting the Women’s Division of AEW on notice.

TNT Championship: Cody (c) def. Orange Cassidy

Cody returned to his blonde look as he took on the sloth Cassidy. Dark Order tried to interfere but the referee put them away. The two stars continued their battle but couldn’t get the better of each other as the match ended in a time limit draw, right in the middle of the mousetrap pin by Cassidy.

Matt Hardy, with his family, was interviewed in the crowd, where he revealed that he is fit for an in-ring return. Guevara appeared on the big screen and promised to inflict more damage to the veteran star.

AEW Women’s Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) def. Big Swole

The third title match of the night saw Swole receive her first title opportunity but she wasn’t able to take down the impressive champion. Shida ended up winning the match with a running knee.

No DQ | AEW World Heavyweight Championship: Jon Moxley (c) def. Lance Archer

The match was made No DQ after their altercation backstage earlier in the night. Moxley and Archer traded huge shots early on in the match, with Moxley hitting the Paradigm Shift only for two-count.

Both men continued their ruthless assault, and Archer ended up hitting the Blackout, only for Moxley to counter the pin and retain the title.

Post-match, Archer attacked Moxley further but Fenix and Pentagon Jr made the save. Eddie Kingston had big words for his former friend, but ended up attacking him and choking him out with the rear naked choke.
