AEW Dynamite took place from the home of ECW this week, and after winning the first two installments in the Wednesday Night Wars, they looked to continue their run this week.

The Lucha Brothers attacked SoCal Uncensored before their matchup with Best Friends. Scorpio Sky stepped in as a replacement for the injured Christopher Daniels.
AEW Tag Team Tournament First Round – SCU defeated Best Friends: AEW continued the trend of having high-quality matchups in the opening segment of the night, as both the teams delivered a brilliant performance. Scorpio Sky hit the powerbomb-dropkick combo on Trent Baretta for the victory.
Santana and Ortiz defeated John Silver and Alex Reynolds: The tag-team duo, part of Chris Jericho’s notorious Inner Circle, took down the enhancement talents for an easy victory.
Post-Match, Chris Jericho was seen applauding his mates and said they’ll go after the Young Bucks.
A vignette for Cody was displayed, hyping his AEW World Championship Match against Chris Jericho at Full Gear next month.
AEW Women’s Championship Match: Riho defeated Britt Baker: Riho’s first defense of the championship saw her take on her tag-team partner from last week. Riho won the matchup with a roll-up yet again.
The Women’s Division of AEW is in desperate need of new talent, and the company will be itching to bring the likes of Tessa Blanchard and Tenile Dashwood to the roster.
AEW Tag Team Tournament First Round – Lucha Bros defeated Jungle Express: Pentagon and Fenix Jr. were victorious over the much smaller opponents, as Luchasaurus had to be withdrawn from the match due to an injury. Pentagon delivered a Piledriver and Double Stomp combo to win the match and advance to the semis.
Kenny Omega and Hangman Page defeated Jon Moxley and PAC: The rivalry between Omega, Moxley and PAC continued with this tag-team bout this week. Moxley used the barbed wire bat from last week. Omega and Page combined to give PAC a V-Trigger followed by a DeadEye for the win.
Philadelphia Street Fight for AEW World Championship – Chris Jericho(c) defeated Darby Allin: Two different styles were in action as the much-faster paced Allin took on the veteran Jericho. Jake Hager punched Allin in the face, following which Jericho applied the Boston Crab for the victory.
Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle celebrated with a little bit of the bubbly, to end the night.
