The AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament kicked off on this week’s Dynamite, which also featured a much-hyped steak dinner between Chris Jericho and MJF.

World Championship Eliminator Round 1: Wardlow def. Jungle Boy

The destructive Wardlow proved too much for Jungle Boy, as MJF’s henchman hit consecutive F10’s to secure the win and advance to the semifinals.

Jon Moxley said that he will give another chance to Eddie Kingston at Full Gear, this time in an “I Quit” matchup.

World Championship Eliminator Round 1: Kenny Omega def. Sonny Kiss

Sonny Kiss replaced Joey Janela after Janela moved himself out of the match after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. The match featured a completely new avatar of the Cleaner Kenny Omega, who got a new entrance with commentary hyping up his career achievements. Omega won the match in quick fashion with the V-Trigger followed up by the One Winged Angel.

Backstage: Orange Cassidy talked about his draw against Cody and said he will take him down next week in a rematch.

Cody entered the arena in his limousine and said Cassidy is no match for him. He talked about putting on some weight during his time off, as he wishes to keep up with the heavyweights of the division.

World Championship Eliminator Round 1: Rey Fenix def. Penta El Zero M

The two brothers faced off as Kingston looked on from commentary. Fenix ended up on top after hitting his elder brother with a Canadian Destroyer for the pinfall. Fenix will face Kenny Omega in the semifinals.

Backstage: The Dark Order spoke about their ambitions, with Colt Cabana wanting to win the World Title. John Silver said he and Brodie Lee will be there to beat up the TNT Champion.

World Championship Eliminator Round 1: Hangman Page def. Colt Cabana

The final match of the first round saw former Tag Team Champion Page pick up the victory over Dark Order representative with the Buckshot Lariat.

In-Ring Promo: Taz and his gang hit the ring, with Taz speaking about the offer to Will Hobbs who hasn’t responded. Taz hyped up Ricky Starks and said he’ll take down Darby Allin and secure a right to face TNT Champion at Full Gear.

Chris Jericho and MJF Have a Steak Dinner

MJF and Chris Jericho met up for their steak dinner and did some comedy bit before breaking into a song and dance routine. Jericho said they will have a town hall meeting next week to determine if MJF is the right fit for Inner Circle.

Britt Baker def. KiLynn King

Baker picked up an easy win over King with a series of offensive maneuvers followed by the lockjaw submission to end the match.

No.1 Contender Match for AEW Tag Team Titles: The Young Bucks def. John Silver & Alex Reynolds, Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade

Chaos ensued in the main event as all the four teams brawled in the Daily’s Place before Matt Jackson reversed a pin attempt from Isaiah Kassidy to secure the win and win the right to face FTR at Full Gear.

FTR entered the ring and offered beers to Young Bucks who attacked them. A masked man attacked the winners of the main event, and it was revealed to be Tully Blanchard. FTR stood tall to end the show.
