AEW Dynamite was back on Wednesday after airing on Thursday last week due to NBA conflict.

Santana and Ortiz def. Best Friends: The two teams had a huge brawl before the match, with Santana throwing Chuck Taylor into a pile of chairs. The heels picked up the win after hitting the Street Sweeper on Trent.

MJF and Wardlow brought in their lawyer who was scared of facing Jon Moxley and said he shouldn’t come in front of MJF’s goals.

The Young Bucks and Jungle Express def. SCU and Private Party: A fun eight-man tag ended with Matt and Nick hitting the BTE Trigger on Marq Quen for the win.

Backstage, Jake Hager found Orange Cassidy and told him to be at ringside for Jericho’s match against Joey Janela.

Tully Blanchard hyped up FTR and gave them advice before their match against Kenny Omega and Hangman Page at All Out.

Kenny Omega got in the ring and spoke about Page’s troubles with the Elite. FTR interrupted and offered him chocolate milk but he refused. Page made his way out as FTR tried to get inside his head, but the two teams didn’t exchange blows.

Backstage, Chris Jericho cut a promo on how he will destroy Orange Cassidy after helping him become a main-event star.

Chris Jericho def. Joey Janela: Jericho warmed up for his match with a fairly easy win over Janela with the Codebreaker.

Post-match, Jericho beat up Janela as Orange Cassidy made the save. Sonny Kiss joined the ring but was taken out by Jake Hager. Jericho and Hager retreated as Cassidy stood tall in the ring.

Several teams (Eddie Kingston’s faction, Taz’s faction, Jake Roberts and Lance Archer) entered the ring and had a major brawl before the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out.

Thunder Rosa def. Serena Deeb: The NWA Women’s Champion picked up the win after hitting a Thunder Driver on Deeb for the three-count in her debut match on Dynamite.

Jon Moxley cut a promo and said he won’t let 2020 get worse by losing at All Out and making MJF the World Champion.

Britt Baker attacked Big Swole with her crutch after Baker’s assistant Reba delivered a pizza to Tony Schiavone.

Jon Moxley def. Mark Sterling: Moxley played around with MJF’s lawyer who was reluctant for the match before hitting him with the Paradigm Shift for the win.

Post-match, Wardlow and MJF viciously attacked Moxley and opened him up after a punch with the Diamond Ring.
