WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results June 26, 2020

Here are your WWE Friday Night SmackDown results from June 26, 2020. This week’s episode featured a ‘Tribute to The Undertaker’, Fatal Four Way Match to determine the #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and more.

The Tribute Show to the Undertaker opened up with Michael Cole and Corey Graves talking about Taker’s thirty-year career, as the SmackDown roster led a “Thank You Taker” chant.

The show then continued with the Boneyard Match from WrestleMania between The Undertaker and AJ Styles, which is now referred to as his last wrestling match. Several stars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, Bret Hart, etc. had words of praise for the Deadman in pre-recorded videos.

King Baron Corbin entered the ring and disrespected The Undertaker, calling him an ass-kisser who held others down. Corbin went on until he was attacked by Jeff Hardy.

Hardy explained his actions backstage and mentioned how The Undertaker was a mentor to him. Hardy issued a challenge to Corbin for a singles matchup.

Fatal 4 Way – No.1 contender for SmackDown Women’s Title | Nikki Cross def. Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, and Alexa Bliss:
Nikki Cross earned herself a shot at Extreme Rule after sneaking in a pin on Evans for the three-count. Read more.

The New Day and Lucha House Party def. Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro and Miz/Morrison:
The faces took the win in this eight-man tag after Gran Metallik pinned Miz with an elbow drop for the win.

Corbin mocked Hardy’s alcohol problems and said he should retire like the Undertaker. Corbin joked that Hardy will rest in peace after their matchup.

Braun Strowman cut a promo, recalling his days with Bray Wyatt at the swamp. Strowman asked Wyatt if he was ready to go back to the place where it all started, as graphics of the swamp were shown. Wyatt’s laugh echoed throughout the arena to end the segment.

Jeff Hardy def. King Corbin:
Hardy picked up the win over the King with a big Swanton Bomb, as several members of the blue brand watched on from ringside.

Post-match, Big E, Braun Strowman and Matt Riddle delivered their finishers to Corbin as a sign of respect for the Deadman.
