Here are your WWE Monday Night Raw results from July 6, 2020. The show featured a Champion vs Champion match, unveiling the new United States Title design and more.

WWE Monday Night Raw Results:

The show opened with Drew McIntyre who invited Dolph Ziggler to reveal the stipulation for their WWE Championship match at WWE Extreme Rules. Ziggler instead brought out Heath Slater, who accused Drew of not being there for him when he needed the most. Slater talked about their history with 3MB, and how Slater checked in on McIntyre after he was released in 2014.

Drew McIntyre vs Heath Slater:
Slater’s possibly final match in WWE ended in mere seconds after McIntyre landed a big Claymore Kick.

Post-match, a disappointed Ziggler attacked Slater, as Drew made the save. McIntyre helped Slater up and embraced him to end the segment.

Sasha Banks and Bayley refused to answer questions in an interview backstage, which didn’t amuse Asuka. The Empress laughed and said she won’t be alone against Bayley in the Champion vs Champion match.

Bayley and Banks entered the ring and talked about their upcoming title matches and Banks vowed to become ‘2 Belts Banks’ at Extreme Rules after tapping out Asuka. Asuka interrupted and brought out Kairi Sane with her.

Kairi Sane def. Sasha Banks by DQ:
Bayley and Asuka were heavily involved in Sane’s return match which ended up in DQ after Bayley interfered from the outside. Post-match, the two teams continued to brawl outside the ring.

Backstage, Aleister Black who was scheduled to team up with Rey Mysterio in a tag match against Seth Rollins and Murphy was laid out with a Mysterio mask on his head, as Rollins and his group looked on.

The Kevin Owens Show welcomed Seth Rollins and Murphy as the guests. Owens gifted Rollins a KO Mania t-shirt to remind Rollins of his loss at WM 36. Rollins talked about Owens doing nothing in recent months, and proposed an offer to join his team. Rey Mysterio and Dominick interrupted and accepted Rollins’ challenge for Extreme Rules.

Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens def. Seth Rollins and Murphy:
Kevin Owens replaced Black and joined Mysterio in the tag match. A poke to Murphy’s eye by Dominick led to Rey hitting a 619 followed by FrogSplash for the win on Murphy.

Post-match, Mysterio confirmed the “Eye for an Eye” stipulation, which horrified Rollins as he was not expecting that.

MVP and Bobby Lashley talked about how they broke Apollo Crews last week, and are going to make the US title prestigious soon. MVP unveiled the new design of the US title, and Lashley placed it around MVP’s waist. Cedric Alexander and Ricochet interrupted and said that they will have to pay for hurting Crews.

MVP and Bobby Lashley def. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander:
The babyfaces tried their best but Lashley proved too much, as a spear by the All Mighty was enough to secure a three-count on Alexander.

Post-match, Lashley manhandled Alexander and applied the Full Nelson, before Ricochet made the save.

Andrade and Angel Garza were warned by Randy Orton backstage, who asked them to be at their best or else they’ll have to face the wrath of the Legend Killer.

Randy Orton, Angel Garza and Andrade def. The Big Show and Viking Raiders:
Randy Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere on Erik to win the match for the heels, as Garza and Andrade showed signs of reuniting.

MVP tried to recruit Cedric Alexander, reminding him of the fact that Ricochet is holding him down. Alexander didn’t give it much thought as MVP walked off with the new US title.

Bille Kay def. Ruby Riott:
Billie Kay delivered the Boyfriend Stealer for the pinfall victory on Riott, with some help from her partner Peyton Royce.

Asuka def. Bayley:
Asuka took the victory in the Champion vs Champion match after she applied the Asuka Lock. Bayley was distracted by Nikki Cross who appeared behind the plexiglass.
