The WWE Backlash go-home edition of Raw featured Christian reuniting with Edge on The Peep Show, a decathlon match to determine the #1 contender for the United States Championship, new title match announcements and more.

WWE Raw Results:

Asuka was interrupted by the new Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley, along with the IIconics. A brawl broke out between the three teams (Charlotte Flair teamed up with Asuka) leading to a triple threat.

  • Asuka and Charlotte Flair def. The IIconics and Sasha Banks/Bayley: The non-title match saw the RAW Women’s Champion and her new rival set aside their differences and win the match. The finish saw Asuka sneakily tag herself in and apply the Asuka Lock on Billie Kay for the win.

Asuka was attacked by Flair post-match, who raised the title and taunted the Empress.

Seth Rollins joined commentary and had words with Rey Mysterio, who joined through satellite. Mysterio promised to hit Rollins with a 619 once he is recovered, as Rollins was attacked out of nowhere by Aleister Black.

  • Humberto Carrillo and Aleister Black def. Murphy and Austin Theory: The quick match saw the babyfaces pick up the win after Black hit Murphy with a kick out of nowhere for the pinfall.

Post-match, Rey Mysterio’s music hit, but Rollins came down instead and joined his group in beating down Black and Carrillo.

Edge joined Christian for a special edition of the Peep Show. Christian taunted Edge and said he can never have a ‘greatest wrestling match’, even in his prime. Christian got Edge all fired up for the match, as Orton joined in from backstage.

Orton said he will embarrass Edge and send him back to his wife and daughters. He promised to end the redemption of Edge at Backlash.

MVP and R-Truth get into a war of words backstage before the new 24/7 Champion was attacked by Lashley out of nowhere, with his devastating Full Nelson submission.

The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits engaged in the latest edition of “Anything you do, we can do better”, with a decathlon. After 1600 meter-dash and archery, the scores were level at 1-1. The event had stick fighting, beer pong, pole vault, etc. and the scores were tied 5-5 at the end and both teams exchanged words.

  • Andrade def. Kevin Owens and Angel Garza: Andrade and Garza’s association showed some cracks, as Andrade stole Garza’s victory to become the Number One Contender for Apollo Crews’ United States Championship.

Drew McIntyre did some comedy with the Viking Raiders and asked them to stay for the VIP Lounge.

MVP introduced Lashley for the latest edition of VIP Lounge but McIntyre made his way out. The two traded words as Lashley, Viking Raiders, and Street Profits joined the fray.

  • Bobby Lashley and MVP def. Viking Raiders: Lashley warmed up for his match on Sunday by securing a win against the former tag team champions after applying the Full Nelson on Erik.

Post-match, Lashley applied the lock on Ivar, but McIntyre made the save, delivered a Claymore to end the segment standing tall.

  • Charlotte Flair def. Asuka: Flair picked up a victory against the RAW Women’s Champion in a non-title bout, as Nia Jax’s distraction allowed Flair to hit a big boot for the pinfall.
