Here are your results for WWE NXT Great American Bash Night 1. This week’s NXT episode featured a Champion vs Champion match, the first-ever Strap Match in NXT and more.

WWE NXT Great American Bash Night 1 Results:

Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match | Tegan Nox def. Dakota Kai, Mia Yim, and Candice LeRae:
Mia Yim delivered a knee to LeRae to eliminate her. An onslaught by Yim eventually led to her exit as Kai pinned her to bring it down to two. A fired-up Nox and Kai exchanged several big maneuvers before Nox delivered the Shiniest Wizard for the win. Nox is now the #1 Contender for the NXT Women’s Title.

Timothy Thatcher def. Oney Lorcan:
A fantastic technical wrestling match saw Thatcher secure a win after Lorcan submitted to the Fujiwara Armbar. The match featured several takedowns, submissions, and chain wrestling.

Rhea Ripley def. Aliyah & Robert Stone:
Ripley displayed her prowess and took down the duo with a dual Prism Trap.

Strap Match | Dexter Lumis def. Roderick Strong:
The first-ever Strap Match in NXT saw Strong confront his biggest fears as Lumis used the strap to force Strong to submit, with The Silencer.

A brawl broke out between Candice LeRae and Mia Yim backstage, and Issiah ‘Swerve’ Scott tried to interfere, with Gargano getting in his face.

NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar entered the ring with his team and declared his supremacy. He was interrupted by Drake Maverick, sporting a neck brace. Maverick was attacked once again before Breezango made the save and challenged the team to a match next week.

Cameron Grimes declined Damien Priest’s challenge, and instead, put forth a challenge to the winner of Cole vs Lee next week, as he is the top contender.

Io Shirai def. Sasha Banks:
A fantastic match with no commercial breaks saw Shirai pick up the victory with some help from Asuka, who used the green mist in Banks’ face. Shirai delivered the moonsault to win the match. Bayley tried to help Banks but the surprise appearance by Asuka neutralized the Role Model’s attempts.
