Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals | The Grizzled Young Veterans def. The Undisputed ERA: After a lengthy, grueling fight, Bobby Fish and Kylie O’Reilly had the opening to march their way to victory, but a timely distraction from Imperium would cost Undisputed ERA the crucial opportunity. As WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel, and Fabian Aichner walked out to their music, Drake and Gibson took advantage of the distraction by launching Fish into the barricade and planting O’Reilly with a Ticket To Mayhem to score the pinfall victory and advance to the finals.

Toni Storm def. Io Shirai (via disqualification): The Japanese Superstar seemed determined to turn things around with a victory over Storm after falling prey to Bianca Belair in the #1 Contender’s match last week. However, the match failed to yield a clean winner as Belair attacked Storm thus resulting in a disqualification and allowing the former NXT UK Champion to record a victory via disqualification to her name. The EST then knocked Shirai off the apron and posed wildly over Storm.

NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley ran down to brawl with Belair; Shirai joined the party, taking both women out at ringside. Storm followed it up with a dive and took everybody down. Storm returned to the ring to pose with Ripley’s title as the latter looked on.

Backstage: Cathy Kelley caught up with Undisputed ERA who are livid with Imperium for knocking them out of the tournament. NXT Champion Adam Cole calmed his stablemates by suggesting them to focus on Keith Lee’s match against Roderick Strong later in the main event.

Finn Balor def. Joaquin Wilde: Balor scored a clean sweep over Wilde in what was seemingly a squash fight (almost!). The Prince delivered both Coup de Grace and 1916 to score the easy victory and send a bold warning to Ilja Dragunov for their showdown at WWE Worlds Collide.

Shayna Baszler def. Shotzi Blackheart: Last week’s elimination at the hands of Blackheart didn’t sit well with Baszler who left no stones unturned in punishing her opponent in the singles match this week. The Queen Of Spades trapped Blackheart in the Kirifuda Clutch as the latter struggled for a while before tapping out.

After the bell, Baszler kept the submission hold applied and even the referee failed to get her off. The bell had to be rung again and after a brief moment, Baszler finally released Blackheart who had apparently faded out.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals | The BroserWeights def. Imperium: Following their first-round victory, The BroserWeights immediately became the fan favorites to win the tournament this year, and they continued their winning streak by dominating Imperium in the semifinals this week. The highly physical matchup witnessed a constant shift in momentum before Riddle planted Aichner with a Final Flash and a powerbomb followed by a knee to the face. Riddle and Dunne then performed the Bro 2 Sleep combo finisher on Aichner to score the pinfall victory and book their tickets for the finals.

The Grizzled Young Veterans and The BroserWeights will collide in the final round of the tournament next week. Post-match, Zack Gibson and James Drake walked out and all four finalists exchanged some verbal blows to hype next week’s decisive showdown.

NXT North American Championship | Keith Lee def. Roderick Strong: Reigning champion Roderick Strong was accompanied by Cole, Fish and O’Reilly in his main event title defense against fan-favorite Lee as the crowd booed the heel faction. Constant taunts and distraction from the three Superstars at ringside resulted in Blackzilla losing focus on his opponent as Strong managed to bring the big man down on his knees by working on his injured ankle. With multiple nearfalls and no clear winner in sight, Lee finally caught Strong with a Big Bang Catastrophe to score his maiden pinfall title victory.

Post-match, celebration took place over Lee’s NXT North American Title win on the stage as Undisputed ERA trash-talked him back from the ring. Imperium walked out and a brawl broke out between both factions as the Worlds Collide go-home edition of NXT went off the air.
