NXT’s latest episode continued the run of Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic for both men and women.

1. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic | MSK def. Killian Dain and Drake Maverick

MSK, the latest addition to the tag team roster of NXT prevailed over Dain and Maverick, after hitting the blockbuster on Maverick to advance to the semi-finals.

Curt Stallion cut a promo and said that it’s his time to shine, ahead of his match against Santos Escobar.

2. Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round | Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez def. Jessi Kamea and Aliyah

Robert Stone Brand returned with a brand new tag team, but they were no match for the powerhouse Gonzalez and Kai, as the former ended up hitting a chokeslam on Kamea for the win.

Backstage: The Way were interviewed, with Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell upbeat after qualifying for the next round. Johnny Gargano flipped out on hearing Kushida’s name and said he won’t be getting a title shot despite his two ‘fluke’ wins.

A vignette aired with Scarlett reading tarot cards and said that doom awaits for whoever dares to challenge Karrion Kross.

3. Tyler Rust def. Rios

Rust squashed an enhancement talent, as his manager Malcolm Bivens enjoyed from the ringside. Rust hit a modified Rings of Saturn finisher to end things. Bivens celebrated with Rust and took a selfie to end the segment.

Backstage: Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly had a staredown, as they both looked to keep apart their differences ahead of the main event tag match.

4. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic | The Grizzled Young Vets def. Leon Ruff and Kushida

The babyfaces put in a valiant effort, but the former NXT UK Tag Champs earned a ticket to the semi-final, after hitting Ticket to Mayhem on Ruff for the win.

Post-match, Gargano and Theory attacked Ruff and Kushida, before Dexter Lumis appeared and scared the duo away from the ring.

Backstage: Curt Stallion was attacked prior to his match, which left William Regal frustrated. He rescheduled the match for next week and said that if there is any mysterious attack before the match, Legado del Fantasma will face consequences.

Santos Escobar found a tarot card on his bag and laughed it off. Escobar had called out Kross last week, which could be the reason for the tarot card.

5. Toni Storm Brawls With Io Shirai

Toni Storm entered the ring and listed her achievements before Io Shirai interrupted and the duo got in a brawl. Mercedes Martinez attacked Shirai, and eventually, a three-way tussle ensued. Storm ended up standing tall after taking down the other two stars.

Backstage: Isaiah Swerve Scott said he was tired of everyone pointing fingers at him, and he had nothing to do with Bronson Reed or Jake Atlas’ recent outings.

A video package aired with the Imperium members, who promised world domination by taking over NXT UK as well as NXT.

Backstage: Adam Cole and Roderick Strong seemed confident enough that they will take down Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa next week, and that’s undisputed.

6. Bronson Reed def. Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott

After Scott’s comments last week, the duo faced each other, with Scott doing all he could but to no avail. Scott tried talking trash once again, but Reed was unfazed and hit the Tsunami Splash for the win.

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher cut a promo together, as Thatcher explained that after the Fight Pit match, both the stars are ready to team up and win the Dusty Rhodes Classic.

7. Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly def. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan

Balor and O’Reilly kept their differences aside and picked up a win over the tag team champions after O’Reilly applied the heel hook on Burch for the win.

Post-match, Pete Dunne entered as the heels beat down the winners. Cole and Strong entered the arena, as the heels retreated. The Undisputed Era and Finn Balor stood tall together to end the show.
