This week’s NXT kicked off with a war of words and brawl between the top women leading to the first match of the night.

Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm def. Io Shirai, Kay Lee Ray and Bianca Belair: LeRae went on the offensive right off the bat taking out all three opponents at ringside with a leap. Both sides enjoyed a fair share of momentum; Shirai and Belair soon found themselves in the middle of the argument. Ripley seized the opportunity as she tagged herself in and planted Belair with a Riptide for the win.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round: Imperium def. The Forgotten Sons: Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner were always one step ahead of Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler in the highly physical tag team showdown. After plenty of back and forth between both teams followed by nearfalls, Imperium performed the double team European Bomb on Blake to pick up the victory and advance in the tournament.

Austin Theory def. Joaquin Wilde: After his loss to Roderick Strong last week, Austin turned things around by scoring an impressive victory over Wilde, courtesy of a devastating Unproven Cutter.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round | The Undisputed Era def. Gallus: The tag team champions of NXT and NXT UK clashed for the first time to prove their supremacy and punch their ticket to the next round of the tournament.

The lengthy, spectacular, high-stakes matchup featured an exciting finish as Adam Cole took advantage of a distracted referee and knocked Wolfgang out. Fish and O’Reilly hit the Total Elimination on Wolfgang to score the pinfall.

Johnny Gargano called out Finn Balor for walking out on NXT and then coming back when it suited him. The Prince came out and taunted Gargano and offered a chance to fight him at NXT Takeover: Portland if Gagano could make it that far.

Mia Yim def. Kayden Carter: Yim wasn’t ready for the young Carter who pushed her to the limit. The Head Baddie held her ground and finished things off with Protect Ya Neck.

Post-match, Chelsea Green ambushed Yim as Robert Stone announced he was taking over NXT, Green being his first signing.

Fatal 4 Way #1 Contender’s Match for the NXT North American Title | Keith Lee def. Damian Priest, Dominik Dijakovic and Cameron Grimes: Every Superstar got the opportunity to shine and showcase their in-ring prowess in the highly combustible showdown. Grimes almost came out on top but got beaten by Lee who sealed the deal with a Spirit Bomb.
