WWE NXT Results June 10, 2020

A quick, editorial-free WWE NXT results for June 10, 2020. The post-Takeover episode featured Dexter Lumis challenging Adam Cole in a non-title match, a rematch between Cameron Grimes and Finn Bálor, a mixed tag team match, and more.

The show opened with NXT Champion Adam Cole and the rest of the Undisputed Era boasting about Cole’s win over The Velveteen Dream at In Your House. Cole laid out a challenge for Dexter Lumis for later in the night.

Roderick Strong keeps having PTSD from Lumis’ attack, as Keith Lee and Mia Yim walk up to TUE and demand a title shot next.

  • Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae def. Keith Lee and Mia Yim: The two real-life couples faced off in a mixed tag match, with the heels picking up the win after Gargano accidentally dropped Lee on LeRae, and then rolled Lee up for the win.

Damien Priest is happy after his brilliant performance on Sunday, and dropped Cameron Grimes with a shot backstage after Grimes had some words for Priest as well as Balor.

  • Indus Sher def. Mikey Debrey & Mike Reed: The quick matchup saw the two big Indian dudes see off the enhancement talents with a big double team finisher.

Cameron Grimes tried to back off from his match against Finn Balor by feigning an injury but GM William Regal caught the lie and set up the match.

Breezango talked about their history together and promised to dethrone Imperium next week.

Rhea Ripley talked about the new champion Io Shirai but was interrupted by Robert Stone, who tried to recruit her into his team. Ripley refused and instead slammed him onto a table backstage.

  • Finn Balor def. Cameron Grimes: Grimes tried to go 2-0 on Balor, but the Prince picked up a hard-fought victory with the 1916. Balor laid down a challenge to Keith Lee for the North American Championship.
  • Dakota Kai def. Kacy Catanzaro: A fired-up Catanzaro couldn’t keep Kai down, as the heel picked up the win with a Scorpion Kick followed by the GTK.

Post-match, Kai and Raquel Gonzalez beat down Catanzaro, but Kayden Carter made the save. Carter was also demolished later by the duo as they stood tall to end the segment.

El Hijo de Fantasma went on to speak but was interrupted by Drake Maverick who congratulated him and asked for a title shot. Suddenly two masked men ran down, and Fantasma attacked Drake. The two men were revealed to be Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza, while Fantasma dropped his mask and introduced himself as Santos Escobar. Read More.

  • Adam Cole def. Dexter Lumis: Cole picked up the victory with some help from Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish. Velveteen Dream joined in after the match to help out Lumis.

The show ended with Scarlett Bordeaux placing an hourglass on the ring apron, indicating Cole’s time is up.
