WWE NXT Results, Nov 25: Team LeRae Takes Out Moon and Ripley, WarGames Hyped

With War Games in sight, NXT aired with several new matches finding a place on the card. Kevin Owens joined commentary this week, replacing Wade Barett.

Candice LeRae def. Ember Moon

The show opened with a singles encounter, which was won by LeRae after a superkick followed by Wicked Stepsister on Moon. LeRae was assisted on several occasions by Indi Hartwell, Dakota Kai, and Raquel Gonzalez at ringside.

Post-match, the heels looked to attack Moon but she retreated to the ramp. Toni Storm entered and joined Moon, as the duo rushed to the ring to fight off the heel army. But Storm betrayed Moon and beat her up at ringside, followed by the other women attacking Moon

Backstage: Legado del Fantasma enjoyed a round of drinks and celebrated their success in recent times. Santos Escobar looked unbothered by Curt Stallion, the new No.1 contender to his title.



Undisputed Era Hypes Up War Games

Adam Cole led his group to the ring and talked about how they destroyed Pat McAfee and his goons on last week’s NXT. Cole said they won’t be fighting for the titles, but will look to send McAfee’s men to hell at War Games.

Backstage: Candice LeRae asked Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez to join her War Games team, with Toni Storm appearing and taking up the fourth spot.

Kushida def. Timothy Thatcher

Tommaso Ciampa brought a chair and sat at ringside to watch the proceedings, as the two hard-hitting superstars went at it. Kushida came out on top after applying the Hoverboard Lock on Thatcher, who was distracted by Ciampa’s presence at ringside.



The KO Show

Kevin Owens hosted The KO Show with NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff. Ruff talked about his career so far and said he has worked hard to achieve his dreams. Owens pushed Ruff to be more confident as the champion.

Johhny Gargano interrupted and said Ruff is a joke. Priest joined the fray and the three stars exchanged words before William Regal entered and announced a triple threat for War Games.

Finn Balor cut a promo and said the winner of War Games will have his task cut out, as the champion is looking forward to his next challenger.

Cameron Grimes def. Jake Atlas

Grimes picked up an easy win over Atlas after he hit the Cave In for the pinfall.

Post-match, Grimes was interrupted by Dexter Lumis, who brought a bag of leather straps. Grimes said a match is never going to happen and made his exit.

Backstage: Regal confronted Grimes and said he will compete in a Strap Match at WarGames against Lumis.



LeRae Takes Out Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley entered the ring and clarified that she won’t be leaving NXT anytime soon. Candice LeRae introduced her team, with Gonzalez carrying Io Shirai on her shoulder. The heels took out Ripley and stood tall to end the segment.

Xia Li and Boa drove to a mysterious location, where the master from a few weeks ago was standing. The duo kneeled in front of a hooded woman and begged for another chance.

Grizzled Young Veterans Return

Ever-Rise stood in the ring for their match but they were attacked by Grizzled Young Vets out of nowhere. The former NXT UK Tag Team Champions returned to the brand and announced their intentions for the titles.

Backstage: LeRae said that only a stupid person will join Blackheart’s team, and Gonzalez will take the WarGames advantage next week when she takes on Shotzi. Gargano interrupted and took his wife to the car, and there was another wrestler with the Scream mask in the back seat.



Ladder Match for WarGames Advantage | Pete Dunne def. Kyle O’Reilly

A fantastic ladder match between the two stars saw Dunne reign supreme and pick up an advantage for the heels. A masked figure, possibly Pat McAfee, helped Dunne to win the match after pushing O’Reilly from the ladder.

The show ended with Undisputed Era staring down Kings of NXT (without McAfee).
