Triple H opened the debut episode on USA Network and welcomed everyone to a new era of NXT.

Candice LeRae defeated Mia Yim, Bianca Belair and Io Shirai: The four women displayed a plethora of moves in the first match of NXT on live television. Candice LeRade finished the match with a springboard moonsault on Yim for the pinfall victory. She will challenge Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Cameron Grimes defeated Sean Maluta in one of the quickest matches in NXT history. Breakout Tournament winner Grimes scored a quick win over the returning Maluta after delivering a leaping double stomp within a few seconds in to the match.

Roderick Strong defeated Velveteen Dream for NXT North American Championship: Velveteen Dream was distracted by Strong’s friends from the Undisputed Era, which led to Strong delivering a End of Heartache for the victory and become the new NXT North American Champion.

Pete Dunne defeated Arturo Ruas: The newest full-time member of NXT showcased his wide submission skills. He won the match by going after Ruas’ fingers, resulting in a submission victory.

Xia Li defeated Aliyah with a lightning-quick tornado kick.

Imperium announce their arrival: The match never got going as NXT UK’s lead stable, Imperium hit the ring to introduce themselves. A feud between KUSHIDA and WALTER was teased for WALTER’s NXT UK Championship.

Lio Rush defeated Oney Lorcan to become No.1 contender for WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Lio Rush made his return to WWE and produced an excellent encounter with Lorcan, ending with Rush delivering a frog splash for the victory.

Street Fight: Killian Dain vs Matt Riddle ended in No Contest: Dain and Riddle’s street fight ended after the whole NXT locker-room came into the ring and started a massive brawl. The packed arena chanted ‘NXT!’ with almost every NXT superstar in the ring. The show ended with the brawl still going on!
