The fallout from Royal Rumble was expected to dominate this week’s episode of Raw after Drew McIntyre retained his WWE Championship in a match against Goldberg and Edge won the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Edge Interrupts WWE Champion, Sheamus Turns on McIntyre

Drew McIntyre kicked off the show declaring that WWE was now officially on The Road to WrestleMania before Royal Rumble winner Edge interrupted. McIntyre complimented the WWE Hall of Famer, who appeared upset at his inability to attack him since he was now a viable threat to his Championship reign.

Sheamus made his way out and Edge left after telling McIntyre he would make a decision regarding The Championship soon. The Irish star finally turned on his long-time friend before delivering a Brogue Kick to the WWE Champion.

Sheamus then confirmed that Drew McIntyre is no longer his friend in a backstage segment.

Riddle def. Bobby Lashley via Disqualification | United States Championship

It was a match that was set to take place at Royal Rumble but the short match instead took place this week on Raw. Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock through the ropes and while Riddle tapped, the referee had already called for the bell for the disqualification for not breaking the hold. After the match, Lashley continued the assault and threw Riddle over the barricade.

Riddle was then seen at ringside where he couldn’t remember who he was just in a match against.

Xavier Woods def. Mustafa Ali, Kofi Kingston Returns

Kofi Kingston returned to Raw alongside Xavier Woods ahead of the match so that he could step into a feud with Mustafa Ali. Kingston helped even the numbers game at ringside when Slapjack and T-Bar looked to involve themselves before the distraction allowed Woods to reverse a rollup into a pin.

Miz TV: After Bad Bunny’s antics at Royal Rumble, he was invited to be part of Miz Tv this week on Raw. It was revealed that Bunny wanted to be a WWE Superstar but he refused to tour with Miz and John Morrison.

Damian Priest Debuts, def. The Miz

Damian Priest made his debut on Raw attacking The Miz and Morrison to make quite the statement.

Priest made his in-ring debut on Raw against The Miz, Bad Bunny was at ringside and helped The Archer of Infamy pick up the victory, which he claimed following The Reckoning after Bunny hit John Morrison with his pink microphone.

The Hurt Business def. Lucha House Party | Raw Tag Team Championship

After weeks of issues between Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, the Raw Tag Team Champions were given the chance to test their mettle against The Lucha House Party. Cedric Alexander was en route to pick up the win before Benjamin tagged in and pinned Gran Metaik.

Naomi and Lana def. Charlotte and Asuka, and Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke

Charlotte and Asuka lost their Championships to Shayne Baszler and Nia Jax at Royal Rumble but had the chance to step back into the title hunt with a win. Charlotte hit Natural Selection on Dana Brooke and was about to pick up the victory before Ric Flair and Lacey Evans provided the distraction.

Naomi was able to hit the Rear-View on Asuka for the victory to become the number one contender for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Carlito and Jeff Hardy def. Elias and Jaxson Ryder

Carlito returned to Monday Night Raw to team with Jeff Hardy following his Royal Rumble return. Carlito stepped into the feud between Elias and Jeff Hardy and helped The Charismatic Enigma to pick up a huge win with a backstabber to Elias followed by a Swanton Bomb from Hardy.

Alexa Bliss def. Nikki Cross

The former friends collided after similar fortunes in last night’s Royal Rumble since Bliss lasted just four seconds. Alexa Bliss changed back into her old self mid-way through the match with Cross which confused her former friend but Cross continued to fight. Bliss changed back to her Fiend persona and delivered her own version of Sister Abigail for the win.

Edge def. Randy Orton

Edge and Randy Orton looked to close their chapter with this week’s match despite the fact that Edge was looking worse for wear following his Rumble victory.

The two men put on a fantastic main event match despite the fatigue from the night before. Orton was setting up for the RKO to finally put Edge away before Alexa Bliss appeared and the distraction allowed Edge to hit a Spear for the victory.
