The Road To WrestleMania is now officially underway, but with Elimination Chamber just over a week away, the focus has switched to WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and his latest challenger Sheamus.

Shane McMahon Returns

WWE Official Adam Pearce kicked off this week’s show by welcoming back Shane McMahon to Raw. Pearce was there to announce the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship which will feature Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, The Miz, and Champion Drew McIntyre.

AJ Styles made his way to the ring and insulted Adam Pearce before telling the official that he would give him a preview of Elimination Chamber tonight.

AJ Styles def. Jeff Hardy

Styles targeted Jeff Hardy’s leg throughout the match as he warmed up the former Champion for the Calf Crusher. Hardy remained resilient and tried to push for the win despite the damage to his left knee, but after a missed Swanton Bomb, Styles locked in the Calf Crusher and gained the victory via submission.

The New Day def. Slapjack and T-Bar

The feud between these two teams continued as Mustafa Ali looked to continue his story with Kofi Kingston. The latter was finally cleared to return following a broken jaw and was able to help Xavier Woods to send a message to RETRIBUTION. Kingston took out T-Bar on the apron with Trouble in Paradise before The New Day was able to pick up the win with Day Break on Slapjack.

Lacey Evans def. Charlotte Flair via Disqualification

Ahead of the match, Ric Flair made it clear that his relationship with Lacey was casual, before calling out his daughter. After a back and forth, Lacey was able to get a cheap shot in before the match. Lacey Evans looked to lock in the Figure 4 on Flair and The Queen snapped before attacking Evans and forcing the disqualification.

Edge Fails to Make a Decision Again

Edge came out to make his WrestleMania decision but decided that he would wait to see who was Champion following Elimination Chamber. Miz then interrupted with John Morrison and Angel Garza and told Edge that he would cash in on him at WrestleMania if he wins. The Rated R Superstar put Miz in his place before storming out of the ring.

Damian Priest def. Angel Garza

Bud Bunny was in attendance once again and helped the numbers game at ringside to allow Priest to deliver The Reckoning to Garza for the victory.

Keith Lee def. Riddle

Keith Lee picked up the win over Riddle before Lashley made his way to the ring at destroyed both Lee and Riddle to send quite the message to two men who are looking to challenge for his United States Championship.

Lana def. Nia Jax | Tables Match

Both Shayna Baszler and Naomi were at ringside for this match where Lana was looking for retribution after being put through tables nine times last year. Jax dominated much of the match but after missing a leg drop on the apron, Lana was able to push Nia through a table.

Naomi def. Shayna Baszler

Following the tables match, Baszler attacked both Lana and Naomi which led to a match between Naomi and Baszler. The Submission Magician looked to win with the Kirofuda Clutch but Naomi made it to the ropes and stole a victory with a rollup.

Randy Orton def. Drew McIntyre via Disqualification

McIntyre’s COVID issues earlier this year prevented this match from originally taking place. Finally, The Viper and Orton collided on Raw but Sheamus was the man who was able to send a message.

Sheamus interfered and hit Randy Orton with a Brogue Kick to force the disqualification before receiving a Claymore from McIntyre.
