Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE after Survivor Series along with his advocate Paul Heyman. Heyman ripped into the RAW, SmackDown and NXT roster, and said no one is worthy of challenging the Beast. Heyman went on to declare Lesnar’s arrival into the Royal Rumble at No.1 position and said the Beast will win the Rumble and will achieve the unprecedented.

WWE United States Championship: Andrade(c) def. Rey Mysterio: In a rematch from Madison Square Garden, the two rivals faced off again for the US title. After a thrilling matchup which saw a false finish with Rey almost winning the title but Andrade had his foot on the bottom rope, thanks to Zelina Vega.

Vega helped him again by pulling it out of the ring when Mysterio went for the Splash. Outside the ring, Mysterio accidentally bumped into Vega, but Andrade used this distraction and hit a Hammerlock DDT to topple Mysterio and ripped off his mask to present it as a gift to Vega.

Backstage: Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe talked about their feud with Seth Rollins and AOP. Owens and Joe gave props to each other and promised to take down the heel trio in the main-event with a mystery partner.

Rollins and his buddies accepted the challenge laid down by Owens and Joe and said he is not afraid of the duo.

RAW Tag Team Championships | The Viking Raiders(c) def. The Street Profits & The OC: The Viking Raiders defended their titles against two of the top teams in the RAW division, overcoming stiff resistance from the two teams. Erik caught Anderson with a Powerbomb, followed by Ivar hitting him with a Splash for the win.

Becky Lynch showed a video package of all the times she fell short in defeating Asuka. As she was about to promise to put an end to this, The Empress of Tomorrow arrived to taunt her in Japanese., but The Man planted her with a punch and left the ring.

Backstage: Mojo Rawley asked Rowan if he could see what is inside his mystery cage. Rawley took one look and seemed horrified immediately.

Andrade and Vega cut a promo in Spanish following their manhandling of Mysterio, only to be interrupted by the masked superstar. Rey got his mask back, took down Andrade and held the title to end the segment.

Erick Rowan def KJ Orso: Rowan squashed the enhancement talent Orso with his Iron Claw slam. Rowan forced Orso to look inside his mystery cage, and Orso’s face was immediately covered in what looks like blood.

AJ Styles def. Akira Tozawa: A visibly frustrated AJ Styles destroyed Tozawa, and mocked his arch-nemesis, Randy Orton, throughout the matchup. Even after winning the match, Styles did the iconic pose of Orton to end the segment.

Lana and Bobby Lashley hit the ring and got officially married in the ring this time. Lana went on to talk trash about Rusev and continued her whining, which she does on a weekly basis. Rusev interrupted, and he mocked the “couple”. Rusev said he celebrated the honeymoon for them by going on a holiday himself. Lashley and Rusev traded verbal jabs and promised to destroy each other next week.

Backstage: R-Truth was being interviewed by Caruso but was interrupted by Liv Morgan who promised to be in Rusev’s corner for his battle against Lashley next week.

Charlotte Flair vs. Sarah Logan: Charlotte Flair absolutely murdered Logan after Logan tried to lay her hands on Flair’s robe. The referee tried to get Flair off Logan and the match didn’t go anywhere.

Drew McIntyre def. No Way Jose: Drew McIntyre murdered the Conga Line and went on to destroy No Way Jose with his Claymore Kick. The Scottish Psychopath cut a menacing promo, announcing his intentions on winning the Rumble and facing the World Champion at WrestleMania.

Aleister Black def. Shelton Benjamin: Aleister Black continued his devastating run with yet another victory. Black took down the veteran Benjamin with the Black Mass.

Post-match, Buddy Murphy attacked Black and delivered an intense beat-down to the former NXT Champion. Murphy ended the segment sitting with his legs folded, mocking Black’s famous pose.

Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens and Big Show def. Seth Rollins and AOP by DQ: Owens and Joe brought in the returning Big Show, who made his return to WWE after over a year out of action. AOP laid into Show towards the end, which forced the referee to call the match off. Post-match, Show landed a Knockout Punch on Rollins, who was dragged to the back by AOP to end the show.
