Jax and Natalya Pummel Bliss and James
The match starts with Bliss cowardly tagging in James. A cool spot follows soon as Jax and Natalya hit the Hart Attack clothesline. A nice nod to the past. Bliss is then tagged in and briefly has the upper hand as she connects with a right hand on Natalya. James and Bliss do some quick tags to keep beating up Natalya who somehow manages to tag in Jax. It is one way traffic from there on as Jax takes out both Bliss and James and eventually hits a powerslam followed by a running dropkick on James for the win.
As soon as the bell rings, Bliss gets in the ring with a Kendo stick and hits Jax a few times before Jax takes the stick out of Bliss’ hands causing her to run away. She then obliterates the kendo stick. Later, backstage she tells Charly that she is going to do to Bliss what she did to the stick.
Winner: Nia Jax and Natalya
Verdict: A decent match and a nice way to set up the Extreme Rules match on Sunday.
Owens Tries to Be Safe From Strowman
Owens is with Angle and Angle asks him what he is doing here. Owens replies that he is a professional and that is why he is here. He, however, hands Angle a doctor’s note saying he isn’t cleared to compete. He goes on to tell that he is going to wait in the one place he knows he is going to be safe from a Strowman attack – Angle’s office.
Verdict: This feud is slowly turning out to be one of the most entertaining feuds going on right now and this was a funny segment that perfectly sets up Owens’ impending doom.
Another Pointless No Way Jose and Mojo Rawley Match
Rawley makes Jose back up into a corner. Jose, however, manages to deck Rawley. Some back and forth follows before one of the most pathetic moves is executed by Rawley and he still manages to get a near fall. A little more back and forth follows before Rawley manages to hit the Alabama Slam for the win.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
Verdict: If WWE’s idea of getting No Way Jose some wrestling pedigree is by making him have one dimensional matches with Mojo Rawley, then they are wrong.
